Today I got my first Effigyoff Fire Giants. It was really quick to complete at w117 Daemonheim, but today I'm stumped: How can I use the RS gold lamp on? Dragonkin lamps are calculated to offer high amounts of xp in high levels, unlike most lamps that are calculated to offer high levels of xp a mid levels (comparatively ). For example, at level 40 in a skill using a lamp out of one of the coaches (no more available), I would acquire 2k experience. However at level 80, I would only get 4k experience.
Having a Dragonkin lamp, at level 40 I will get 3,240 expertise, however a level 80 I'll get 25,360 xp. Because of this it is well worth putting the lamp on a skill which I have a high level in, but not at a skill where I can easily acquire experience. Sadly, the most expensive skills to level for me personally would be the lowest level. Though construction is an option, it's not that pricey, and I am stuck wondering what to do-my hgihset ability, woodcutting, is quickly to level and just level 70. I would love to place it on a challenging skill, but this would be a waste. What skill should I place it on?
With this setup you're going to be attacked when you first enter, but just run with protect magic into the Zamorak part across the destroyed ice bridge. You will want plenty of prayer potions and a few emergency food. Good luck! I recently posted the exact same thing in another thread, it's associated with this thread as well so here it is:
here is what you have to do (for money and adequate xp per hour): 53-63 search grey chinchompas, it's about 50-60k xp per hour and about umm 150k money per hour (sorry if amounts are incorrect but since I got 99 a year ago, I don't really know the specific numbers) 63-83(-91 - 99) red chinchompas, around 65k xp per hour at 63, goes upto 95k xp in 99 and roughly 230k money per hour ( assuming you catch the average 350 chins per hour). At 83 and 91 you receive the ability to hunt dragon and kingly implings, respectively.
I strongly advise getting 91 hunter if not 99 to get a making a decent quantity of cash per hour. It's possible to get 4 kinglys' per hour at Puro Puro, however it's more like 1 (depends on fortune and how great you're at spawning). Even if you do grab just one kingly, it is 800k + ~500k out of magpies/ninjas/dragon implings you capture, letting you earn ~1.3m cash per hour ( better than RC though it really depends upon your luck/other hunters). For the record I've made 4m money in one hour via impling spawning. On the cheap OSRS gold other hand, implings are extremely bad xp per hour, so in the event you need 99, search chinchompas/salamanders/butterflies(in case you have the necessary agility level).
