We share 6 useful tips & tricks for successful living in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
1. Storing ACNH DIY Recipes
Since we can't properly store DIY recipes, the only choice we have for our leftovers is to sell them, but it can seem like a waste to sell them when somebody else may need them later rather than making them clutter up your island. There is a system for storing DIYs that you can use. What you're going to want to do is place your DIYs on a table, then open the menu to open your island designer tool, click on cleanup order, this will send all the things on the nearby table and sadly the table as well as to the recycle box where your DIY recipes will be safely placed before you take them out.
2. Villagers are out hunting
The campsite could be a good place to go if you're searching for villages with a particular personality style. When a camping villager visits the campsite, they have a 60 chance of having a form of personality that you don't have, which makes it much easier to search for unique villages, and it will certainly help you get a particular one you've been searching for.
3. Spots of accountability
You can use clear designs on the ground to discourage flowers, fossils, and weeds from spawning if you want it to look exactly as you want it to. Since they can't spawn on top of patterns, you might position them all in positions where you don't want anything to show up.
4. Bullying the Villagers Yours
In fact, bullying your villagers does not do anything to get them to move out of your island, and in previous games this was also the case. You'd think differently, and that after being smacked in the head 500 times the net, they might absolutely want to abandon your island, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. The easiest way to get villagers to leave is to use an amiibo card, or simply wait patiently. There are other ways to get people to leave as well.
5. Wardrobes of the Village
If you open the wardrobe unit of a village for a little treat, it will actually show you some clothes you have given this villager, which is a pretty cool little detail. It's not the most helpful trick out there, but seeing what you have passed on to your villagers in the past is still very cool.
Variety is very important when it comes to New Horizons. You may know that certain personality types will give you certain reactions and that in order to get all of the reactions available in the game, you will need all personality types. However, some of the DIYs you'll get are influenced by this as well. Ultimately, making sure that you have one of every character living on your island is a brilliant idea. In Animal Crossing, variety is really the spice of life and this is the perfect way to make sure you've unlocked as much as you can in the game as possible.
